Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pets Virtual Home ("the Service", "the Platform"), whether through our website at petsvirtualhome.com or via our API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business (e.g. your clinic), you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

Description of Service

Pets Virtual Home is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides management tools for pet care businesses, including but not limited to:

• Appointment scheduling and calendar management
• Pet profiles and electronic medical records
• Billing, invoicing, and payment tracking
• Inventory management for medicines and pet supplies
• Staff management and role-based access control
• Grooming session and boarding management
• Automated reminders and notifications
• Reports and analytics

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the platform or by email.

Account Registration & Security

To use the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately at support@petsvirtualhome.com if you suspect unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Not create accounts for the purpose of abuse, spam, or circumventing suspension

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Each clinic/business requires its own subscription account.

Subscription & Billing

Plans & Pricing: Pets Virtual Home offers subscription plans as displayed on our Pricing page. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and are subject to applicable taxes.

Free Trial: New accounts receive a free trial period as specified on the Pricing page. No payment method is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, access is restricted until a subscription is activated.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Payment is processed via Razorpay. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard before the renewal date to prevent future charges.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of initial payment for new subscribers. After this period, refunds are not provided for partial months or unused time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pets Virtual Home to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Store or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' data
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform
• Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written consent
• Use the platform for any purpose other than managing your pet care business
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the operation or security of the platform

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action for any violation, including immediate suspension of your account without notice.

Your Data & Intellectual Property

Your Data: You retain full ownership of all data you input into the platform — including pet records, customer information, invoices, and all other business data. We claim no intellectual property rights over your data.

Our Platform: Pets Virtual Home and all its components — including the software, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation — are the intellectual property of Pets Virtual Home. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

Licence to Use: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription.

Data Export: You may export your data from the platform at any time. We will provide reasonable assistance with data export if you request it.

Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability (targeting 99.9% uptime) but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (we will notify you in advance when possible)
• Emergency security patches or urgent fixes
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, power outages, third-party failures)
• Factors beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for any loss arising from service unavailability. For status updates, visit our platform announcements or contact support.

Termination

By you: You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of the paid period.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we believe you have:

• Violated any of these Terms
• Engaged in fraudulent activity
• Caused harm to other users or the platform
• Failed to pay subscription fees after reasonable notice

Upon termination: You will lose access to the platform. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, data will be permanently deleted.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Pets Virtual Home, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss of data or data corruption (maintain your own backups)
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Any damages exceeding the subscription fees paid in the past 3 months

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties. If you are in such a jurisdiction, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically:

• The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments
• The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
• Indian Contract Act, 1872

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. We encourage resolution of disputes through direct communication before legal action.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via:

• Email to your registered address
• A notice displayed prominently in the platform dashboard
• An update to the "Last updated" date on this page

Changes take effect 14 days after notification. Your continued use of the platform after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
